    1. Natasha: I have a question. If I ovulated on the 6th of October, then I got my period on the 17th. When will I ovulate again? I have not had my period yet this month.... - (Nov 16, 2016)
    2. Christina (OC Team): Log your cycle dates into your account at Ovulation Calculator and you'll get a prediction. Good luck! - (Nov 17, 2016)

Ok I haven't started a period yet. I just got off my depo shot in August, so how do I monitor ovulation if I haven't started my period yet?
    1. Christina (OC Team): You can look for the signs of ovulation (more here: https://www.ovulationcalculator.com/ovulation-symptoms-signs/) or use OPKs, but it'll be easier to track once your period resumes. - (Sep 06, 2016)

Wow. But I am confused here. If 2 sperm enter the embryo, development fails. Please throw more light, so what of fraternal twins or nonidentical twins?
    1. Christina (OC Team): Fraternal twins develop when two sperm fertilize two different eggs. Identical twins develop when one egg, fertilized by one sperm, splits into two. Hope that helps clear things up! - (Sep 07, 2016)
    2. Cindi: Such a miracle.... I'm 41 and trying for my first! A few months ago, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks... so at least I know I can get pregnant still. But I am now doing all I can for him and I to help our bodies conceive. From food to vitamins. Wish me luck! - (Nov 13, 2016)

It's amazing anyone ever gets pregnant. I had no idea it was that difficult with only 2 sperm left at the end.
    1. Christina (OC Team): Once you learn everything involved, conception does seem like more of a miracle, doesn't it? It's a miracle that happens every day, though. Good luck on your journey! - (Sep 19, 2016)

Wow this is amazing!! But what happens to the confused embryo that two sperms fertilize it at the same time? Is it shed ?

How do you know if you have actually conceived? How long to wait after ovulation and sex before being able to know?
    1. Christina (OC Team): You can test at 14 days past ovulation. Good luck!! - (Oct 06, 2016)

I've got PCOS so I do not ovulate normally... is there any way I can figure out when I ovulate? The temperature chart does not work on me nor do the ovulation tests.
Please help!!! Trying to conceive for more than 3 years

Wow. How long does the whole journey take from ejaculation to reaching the egg if it has been released and ready to be fertilized?
    1. Christina (OC Team): This can vary. The sperm will likely start its journey before the egg drops. - (Oct 09, 2016)

This is crazy... to think one day we all went through this journey. I mean, in a weird kinda way. I look over at my sleeping daughter and I'm like "you go girl, you made it!" Lol... but seriously, it makes you wonder, where did the quadruplets come from? I mean, how do people have 3, 4, 5 babies at once?

Hi! TTC for over 10 yrs, I am 39 and my DH is 41. Tests reveal that one tube is bad, but I know can make it with one. I've taken clomid for 5 or more cycles, including the last and the present. BD from 13th to 20th of Nov '16. My last period started on the 6th of Nov. My DH's count is somehow low. Just found you few days back. I have high hopes and pray for success this time. What do you say? Thanks for helping. you're doing great!

Hi, I am a bit lost. My period came on the 18th of December and it lasted 4 days. The cycle was 27 days, and I did have sexual relations on the 28th of December. Can you please advise if there is any chance to get pregnant!?

Thanks in advance and wishing you a lovely year.
