One in six couples struggle to get pregnant and are diagnosed with infertility. The term infertility means a couple is unable to conceive after trying timed intercourse for 12 months if under 35, or six months if over 35.

Fact is, it's not possible for everyone to have a baby the fun way.

It's National Infertility Awareness Week (Apr 24-30). Spread the word by sharing this infographic.

I have been trying for a baby boy. I am 37-years old. I started my last period on the 22nd of Dec. It lasted 5 days, which is normal. My fertile window is between the 4th to 9th of January. I use an ovulation prediction kit, and I saw two lines on the 5th. I had sex on the 6th at night, which is 35 hours after I saw the two lines. I continued to have sex in the morning and at night for days after. After a week, I am feeling some cramps in my lower abdomen and having backaches. I've been feeling sick and fatigued, but today I saw my period. It was not heavy as my period used to be. I'm still feeling cramping down there. I took a pregnancy test in the afternoon. It was negative. Please, what is happening to me?

My cycle has changed from 28 days to 27 days now. It comes for 3 to 4 days instead of the usual 6 days and it's much lighter than before. Should I be worried?

I am due my period now, but I took a test about three days ago and it was negative. Now I felt my cervix and it feels really high and closed. I've only just come off the pill at the end of December, so I haven't much hope that I'm going to catch on this quick.

Been trying to conceive. I usually have a mucus-filled menstral flow. My period cycle is usually 28 days, but sometimes it ranges betwen 28-32 days.
My OBGYN said a mucus period means nothing. What could be wrong?

Is losing weight a sign of pregnancy without morning sickness and vomiting?
